Well my site is now closed and is now blog only. i want to tell you some mistakes wix.com made that made me want to quit and move to xtgem.com
#1 bloating the user interface
Wix's classic website editor used to be much responsive and bloat free
In 2021 wix.com edited the classic editor and added some bloat and slowed down old computers
#2 removing flash embedding
wix.com used to have a feature that allows you to embed flash files onto your site. When 2021 arrived wix.com removed flash embedding from there editors without notice. This was a huge blow to me and others that use flash files
it doesn't help that modern browsers like google ram eater (google chrome) Firefox and Opera and some other browsers removed flash support
#3 paywalls
wix.com is greedy for money lots of features are locked behind a paywall
for example in order to get your wix website found on search engines you must upgrade to a paid plan
so in summery i don't like wix.com anymore and you should quit WIX too
